Avoid like the plague
Awful solicitors, I found them very rude, condescending, bad tone, attitude, against solicitor conduct/standards, especially Nancy Ballard - no confidence in her abilities as a solicitor, shocking, I had no communication about my case or involvement in it, she refused to take client instructions from me, refused to copy in the client in correspondence/communications to the opponent and what seems to be very clear bias towards the opponent. This was my case and I was not involved but kept out of the process by her. She has also made false allegations, slander, spoken in favour of the opponent, defended the opponent and even made the same allegations they did towards me verbally and I even have this in writing. Advice from experience is do not trust these solicitors and stay away from them and Nancy Ballard. Did not read any emails, evidence, paperwork and had no idea what she was doing and kept saying she'll have to ask the employer. Totally jeopardised my case and should have been paid more - so loss and damages as well as negligence. Terrible attitude, no idea how to behave with clients as can be seen from other reviews too as well as my experience. She was shouting, arguing, rude, aggressive and more. Refusal to disclose full documents and full files despite formal written requests. Against GDPR. Requests have also been made to the ICO. I'd advise anybody to avoid this firm, how Nancy is a solicitor is shocking. Google her and you'll see negligence covered by press. Wish I'd read the reviews first. The matter has now been referred to the SRA and the Legal Ombudsman, showing how serious the matter is. If anybody else has had a similar experience those are the organisations to report to them too. This review is based on honest experience and honest opinion. It is important for people to know this experience so that they can make an informed decision, which reviews can help in and so that the same does not happen to them.
