Don't trust Kevin Light

He lied that my former solicitor, Antony Stannard, was a partner at Bishop & Light solicitors. When I was unhappy with my representation with Antony Stannard, I was recommended by a Hove court clerk to change to Kevin Light. Little did I know and much did Kevin deny that Antony is one of his partners in Kevin's firm. I have been once again farcical to change legal representation.

From start to finish my experience with bishop and light solicitors was nothing short of outstanding. From the initial phone call with the officers workers to the help received from barrister, everyone was extremely professional and made it clear what the next steps may be. I wouldn’t recommend any other company for all areas of legal work. Fast email/phone call replies was a constant plus side of my experience and I would definitely use again if ever needed.

I was very grateful to have had Ramon Pape as my solicitor. I had to make a voluntary visit to the police. The prospect of this left me anxious and upset. The care and compassion from Ramon was overshadowed only by his professionalism. I was dealt with in a practical manner whilst being supported and kept calm.

He was forthright in his manner while remaining empathetic and supportive. Thank you Ramon.

I would also like to mention his team who dealt me with warmth and care. I do not hesitate in recommending them and Ramon. Again Many Many Thanks

I was represented by Madeline Priestley in a case where I was unlawfully arrested and subsequently charged with assault. I found Madeline supportive, informative and professional right from the beginning. It was a traumatic time for me and I was an emotional wreck. Madeline was kind and took the time to listen to me, made me feel comfortable and heard. She is excellent at her job, both in court and out of it and wonderful person. She works tirelessly and it is because of her that the case was resolved positively. I am extremely grateful and can't praise her enough.

I can't praise Bishop and Light highly enough. One of their solicitors Madeleine Priestley was outstanding and proffessional. Following an allegaton and arrest Madeleine steered me through this distressing situation with sound advice and compassion. What could have become a complex and depressing situation for me turned out a happy one due to Madeleins expert advice from the very beginning when I was charged and right to the end going beyond her obligations to me by dealing with the return of property back from the police. Highly recommended.
