Commercial Property - Deed of Assignment of Overage Agreement

Well done to Jane and the whole team getting this over the line just in time.
It's been a long and twisty road with skill, patience and perseverance to finally arrive at this point and I am greatly appreciative and somewhat relieved to get there.
The rest of the arrangements and costs can be done in their own time.
Best regards to all.

Andrew Tress and Farzana Ullah provided me with an excellent conveyancing service, which I much appreciate. They were always responsive, helpful and well-informed.

Probate and land registry - Poor communication and mistakes

The support we have received has been far short of expectations. Not even to return calls for probate and land registry matters. Plus mistakes made and no apologies.

Awful, inept & slow service

Notice that this firm delete old reviews because I have only ever read one good one. My experience was much the same as the anonymous review. They were slow, I had to supply information that I was told would be easy to get, despite this they charge for failing to find it. I was asked to give the same background three times, needless to say it was the same but worded differently. This is to inflate time claimed examining data. My solicitor was Ashton Davies, who like his colleagues spend much time on holiday while also dealing with other clients. They are all culpable as they meet to discuss cases. I was given 15,000 pounds short of the award the agreed amount during mediation which they are not obliged to record - this allows for discrepancies. They are expensive & often curt, look elsewhere.

Surprised to see only 1 review- adding balance

Suzanne Bowman has been our conveyancing solicitor for 5 purchases/sales and instructed with another. From previous poor experiences with other solicitors, I have found her to be excellent. I would always choose her to act on my behalf and have recommended her to friends.
On one sale she almost single handedly kept the chain going due to lack of expediency from other parties’ solicitors.

Avoid. Slow and terrible communications

My lease Extension took in excess of a year and half to complete. I felt like I was constantly chasing and being ignored. If I did received a response, it was a vague and unhelpful one liner. Suzanne Bowman was the partner dealing with this file and she was quite possibly the most unhelpful person I have uncounted in the world of solicitors. Constantly on holiday or leave. She passed my file to an associate, Will Howes when she was out of the business, who was slightly better at comms but didn't actually deliver anything. Her EA/PA Carole Ticehurst was a secondary contact when it became clear that Suzanne Bowman was no longer interested in answering my emails. Carole didn't take calls which I found strange for a PA. Overall, I found the whole experience frustrating and stressful. It wasn't until I escalated my issues to HQ in London that my file was dealt with. Within 24 hours of this complaint all documents were emailed and posted out. Avoid this firm. They are UNPROFESSIONAL
