Late last year, we were looking for a solicitor to look after our (standalone) garage sale, house sale and new purchase. I spent a long time researching our options and getting quotes. Initially, we were leaning towards an online company as they came in around £400 cheaper than MCT*. However, after reading MCT's reviews and talking with their director, Mike, we made the decision to instruct MCT - and it was the best decision we made!
MCT are so far from stereotypical solicitors - their office is inviting and friendly and they have an open door policy for any queries etc. Kaitlin and Mike looked after us and were so approachable, knowledgeable and friendly. They always replied to my (numerous) e-mails and never made me feel silly for asking questions. Our purchase had a delay due to Land Registry but MCT tried all they could to get everything resolved. Impressively, once complete, the bill for MCT's fees came to the exact price they quoted upon my initial enquiry - I can't imagine the same can be said for the majority of solicitor firms (and I can only imagine the 'extras' we would have been charged for if we went for the online company).
We've been so, so impressed with MCT. I have, and will continue to, recommend them to everyone. Mike and Kaitlin, thank you so much. Katie and Luke.
*Amazingly, MCT's initial quote came in significantly cheaper than a lot of other local firms (who don't boost anywhere near the positive reviews MCT have).

We were referred MCT solicitors from friends owing to their great experience of their conveyencing journey with them. Researching the process and prices of making our first Wills was not a task I embraced! However, after Googling and calling every solicitor firm in our local town, it was Joe's friendliness and knowledge over the phone that won me over. We engaged the conveyancing services of Claire Richardson at MCT Solicitors, for the sale of our late father's home. Claire made the whole process clear and easy. Communication with Claire was unfussy and timely. I never felt that I wasn't sure what was happening in the sale process; Claire kept me informed every step of the way and answered my questions without delay.
I recommend MCT Solicitors unreservedly, and think that their price for the conveyancing service was very fair; there were no expensive surprises at the end of the process!

An 'open door' policy, was the first sign that this conveyancing team, led by Mike Trott, would prove to be exceptional.
Mike's dedication, calmness and focus, purely on representing his clients best interest shone through. It is rare these days to find client focused professional integrity. At MCT however, this was the primary driver at all times. I would not hesitate to recommend MCT for all conveyancing needs and other associated services.
