Vine Orchards can trace its history back to two 19th Century firms. Orchard & Co can trace its descent from the firm of Colonel Henry Adams which flourished in the 1840s and Vine Edwards, the other component of the current amalgamated firm, from their beginnings in Exmouth in the 1880s. Orchard & Co moved to its present office at Trinity Chambers, 49 Rolle Street, Exmouth in 1980 and was joined there in 1997 by Vine Edwards making the combined firm of Vine Orchards, now Vine Orchards LLP. Over the past seven years Mr Harris has successfully procured all the visas for my Russian family, from initial tourist visas, through Fiancé visas to Indefinite Leave to Remain. Sometimes the applications required the management of complex issues, which were raised by the Home Office, and Mr Harris dealt with these effectively and efficiently. He was always prepared to 'go the extra mile' to get successful outcomes, when necessary. His work, supported by assistant, Nat, is excellent. He is reliable, professional and pleasant to work with.

Description
Although the firm undertakes such commercial work as its Clients’ instruct, it is and has been throughout its history basically a Private Client firm. The bulk of its work has been the non contentious business of local individuals and businesses including property dealings of all natures and a substantial proportion of its work load is involved in Trusts and Probate and the administration of Estates. Since 1975 (or as we would say “recently”) the firm has undertaken litigation in the areas of criminal work during the period when Exmouth had its own Magistrates Court and the sort of work generated by a Private Client base such as matrimonial and family disputes, possession and boundary issues and disputed claims in relation to estates. Since 2011 the firm has had a section dealing with Visas and Immigration issues.
