I used Livingston Solicitors for a really difficult housing situation which turned extremely sour. Livingstons were absolutely brilliant, they are worth every penny and went above and beyond! Every member of staff was extremely friendly, helpful and professional: the solicitors, trainees and receptionist. They were also really good at explaining legal processes and concepts.

Terrible, just utterly awful and extremely unprofessional. They took over 6 months and several extensions to process a simple right to buy mortgage and still haven’t gotten anything done. Failed to send out vital paper work, failed to communicate, failed to actually do the task at hand.
When questioned surprisingly instead of apologising and compensating (or fixing the issue in some way) they carried on to fabricate lies and pin the blame on the victims as I am sure they will do in response to this review.
These are the types of solicitors you need a solicitor against! By all means stay away. They couldn’t possibly be any worse.

As a long-standing and highly satisfied client of Livingstons, I felt I had to balance the feedback from someone else, which did not represent in any way, the exceptional service my family and companies have received from Livingstons.
Nothing has been too much trouble with help and advice at every stage where issues requiring their attention have been referred to them, with matters dealt with expeditiously and professionally, without delay.
Expert advice has clearly benefitted us financially and business and personal support has been excellent.
Friends whom I have recommended have expressed similar satisfaction and now use Livingstons, where rather than a client /solicitor relationship might exist but where we are seen as valued friends and treated as such, safe in the knowledge that we are in good hands.
Highly recommend Livingstons to anyone seeking a professional and helpful solicitor.
