We have had "mirror wills" for some time which we thought were protecting our assets and Family. However, when we read the literature from April King, we realised the short comings of this type of will regarding inheritance and potential drain of possible Care Home fees in the future. It was time for change. We took advantage of an initial free consultation and from that decided to proceed with new will which would provide ourselves and Family with better outcomes than wills previously in place. The consultation was conducted by a charming and knowledgeable lady who covered all the pojnts of concern we had and offered valuable advice on the best way forward for us. We decided to proceed and the paperwork was explained very fully and we were satisfied with what was suggested and gave it the green light.

Saw the tv ad, made contact and Deanna Parsons was allocated to assist us. We found her to be very friendly, patient and understanding. Deanna went through everything, explaining it in simple language and giving us options to make sure we were happy with the end product.

We saw the advertisement for April King and called for a brochure to read about the services, we were very impressed and booked an appointment of the free 1hour consultation.
When we spoke to there representative who asked what we needed in our wills.
It was discussed and sorted out to our wishes. When the wills were done we had another meeting and all of the legal jargon was explained in proper English which we understood more easily.

We wanted to update our wills and April King were recommended to us. Paul understood our requirements, using examples to ensure everything was clear, and guided us through the process in professional manner. He was able to suggest the correct clauses to include in our wills and on receipt Elise walked us through each clause to ensure everything was understood. We visited to update our wills in a face to face consultation with Catriona .
She impressed us as a confident and competent professional .
Catriona expressed herself with clarity of communication and, more importantly, in plain English.
She is very knowledgeable and informative and so we feel much relieved now we have consulted with her .
We believe her to be an excellent ambassador for the firm and we have no problem with highly recommending April King and will continue to use the firm as and whenever necessary.
It was a great pity that had to go to Nottingham to do it as their Leicester office is now closed.
