About this branch
Description
We believe in “going the extra mile” for our clients. This might involve working unsociable hours, obtaining an urgent injunction or more conventional negotiation, mediation, litigation or deal making. We advise on any legal issue that has caused, or has the potential to cause, reputational, commercial or financial harm; from libel, slander and copyright infringement through to all forms of commercial and contractual disputes. Manleys was founded in 2012 by litigation and media lawyer Mark Manley. Mark’s vision was to build a specialist litigation practice, dedicated to first class service, building a strong rapport with clients and focused on achieving results. Our results speak for themselves. From a standing start, Manleys has made its mark on a national level. We work on a daily basis with national media outlets, famous brands, celebrities and HNWIs in TV, football, music, film, and business. We are recognised by both the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners independent legal directories for our areas of specialism. We have been shortlisted by the Legal 500 as Boutique Law firm of the year and Mark is in the Legal 500 “Hall of Fame”. Our firm has grown. Our client base has grown with results in the High Court, in the County Court, Divorce Courts, Employment Tribunals, in the Supreme Court, in New York Courts, in FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber, in Rule K Arbitrations in football, before the Court of Arbitration for sport and in many settlement meetings and mediations. We represent media companies, celebrities, political organisations, medical professionals and sports clubs and professional sportspeople, among many others, protecting their reputations and safeguarding their brands and commercial interests. Sometimes that means fighting hard. Other times it means seeking out a sensible commercial resolution quickly and on advantageous terms.
