This review is for a different branch.
I never write reviews, but this experience was so bad that I have to warn others. JudgeLaw is by far the most truthless and unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. They took £420 from me for conveyancing services, and within 48 hours, the property purchase fell through (seller pulled out). I respectfully asked for a refund, and they only sent back £120, claiming the remaining £300 was already paid to third parties for property searches.
Fair enough, right? WRONG! Here’s where the f begins:
I asked if, in case I purchased another property, they would charge me £300 again. They said NO—meaning they had NOT actually paid any third party! Why would they suddenly waive £300 if it was already spent?
Since I had no choice, I arranged with the seller for his new buyer to take over the searches that I supposedly paid for. Everyone agreed, and I informed the conveyancers about it. They even PROMISED via email to share those searches with me once available.
THREE MONTHS passed, and they never sent me a single document! They ignored my emails and messages, and when the new buyer reached out, they straight-up LIED, saying they were “not aware” of any searches that they needed to provide.
I kept requesting proof that they had even done these searches. Guess what? No response. Because THEY NEVER DID THEM! They just pocketed my £300!
So here I am, £300 short, fighting for my own money. £300 might not be much for a big company, but for a regular person, that’s a HUGE amount—especially when buying a home! This company is either completely fraudulent. Either way, they should NOT be trusted.
I will be disputing this with my bank and reporting them to every possible authority. If you are considering using them, RUN! They will take your money and disappear!
