Over-priced, arrogant, strategic failings
Make no mistake. This is a business. They aren't interested in you. Having been told we could not lose, our money was safe with them etc guess what we did! Strategically naive, they put the loss of our fees of £175K down to bad luck on the day. They failed to own up to any errors, including staggeringly, a partner failing to pass on a letter to counsel and then asking us to lie about it to the Court!. The counsel was so embarrassed he would not take his fee. But not this shower. And this from the top law firm of 2020. What a joke. I would run a mile. I have already complained to the Legal Ombudsman and am considering a claim of professional negligence against them.
