Complicated multi-jurisdictional international divorce
I am a citizen of one country (where my ex and I married). My ex-spouse is the citizen of a second country but we owned property in a third and fourth country, where neither of us were resident. Only one of these countries is in the EU. I'd interviewed 6 other solicitors in the UK before I met with Frank. Not one of these gave me any confidence that they understood the complexities of the situation and had the delicate acumen to deal with it. I felt the other were just seeing me and my case as source to receive a hefty fee from. Frank was not like this at all. He immediately flagged my own concerns without me raising. He demonstrated an immediate understanding for the realities of the situation. Before I even fully engaged him, he laid out a plan to help me establish a firm case to file in the UK, where I had the greatest chances for a fair settlement. Frank guided me over the course of 2 years and we were able to file and litigate in the UK, where eventually I was granted a decree absolut and the judge signed off on a settlement that the ex spouse tried to pull out of after agreeing to it. If not for Frank's guidance and expertise in the fourth country where we owned property, justice certainly would not have been served to me to the extend it has. Frank was always only a phone call away and was patient and calming when everything seemed to me catastrophic. Thanks to Frank I've been able to start my independent life on my terms even with the obstructions or non-cooperation from the respondent.

I felt in good hands
Due to the international nature of my case, I was looking for a family lawyer in England who would also know about German law, and in Frank Arndt I found that and much more.
The disputes had been going on for years prior, before and after my divorce when I first approached Frank and he was very quick to bring clarity, offered brilliant strategic options, and very importantly in the hardest emotional moments, was reassuring, supportive and kind. I would without hesitation recommend Frank for his professionalism and humanity.

My experience.
I heard about Paradigm Family Law through “word of mouth” from a trusted friend. I was a Respondent and had been persuaded into not using a solicitor by the petitioner to save money. I was offered a settlement and not being of this new world it seemed okay and reasonable. As a final sanity check, I approached Paradigm and asked Mr Frank Arndt for his open and honest opinion. I was shocked to be advised that it was neither okay nor reasonable. I instructed Paradigm to represent me and for the next 14 months Mr Arndt and his team guided me through the whole process. They were my rock that I clung to, I could get advice at anytime and indeed they rung me to make sure I understood what was required and the best way forward. Needless to say the resulting settlement saved me a six figure sum that I would have otherwise lost without them. The Judge spoke that it was fair and reasonable settlement and signed the court order without further litigation required. I must commend Mr Arndt and his excellent team - Evelyn and Nick, for making a very stressful part of my life, bearable. I cannot thank them enough.
