Kathy Askew

Paralegal

A sympathetic, compassionate and professional Family Law Paralegal that is easy to talk to. Kathy joined Hopkins Family Law Team in 2018, as a secretary within our Public Law Children’s Care Department. She qualified as a paralegal in October 2022 and will be Cilex acredited in Feburary 2023. She is based from our Sutton in Ashfield Town Centre office and specialises in cases involving children and social services involvement. When asked why she chose this career, she said: Family law is an area, which I have always been interested in. After having my own child, it became an area that was more important to me. I want to be able to help in any way that I can, and occasionally that is just by spending five minutes on the phone with a client and listening to them when they have no-one else to turn to. I find the area of law very interesting and no two days are ever the same.”
