Andrew's practice covers disputes relating to carriage of goods by sea; national and international carriage of goods by road; claims arising under charter-parties; General Average disputes; shipbuilding disputes and associated marine insurance disputes. He handles cases in the High Court and in London Arbitration as well as resolving disputes through negotiation and alternative dispute resolution procedures such as mediation. Andrew also has experience in reviewing and drafting standard conditions of business for hauliers and transport operators. Andrew has 23 years' experience of maritime and transport dispute resolution. After qualifying with a maritime firm in the City of London he practiced in Hong Kong for a number of years, gaining a broad experience of shipping litigation, before returning to practice in the City of London. He joined TKTL in 2014. Andrew is a supporting member of the London Maritime Arbitrators' Association and a member of the London Solicitors' Litigation Association. He has lectured on the CMR Convention and international carriage of goods by road at the Lloyd's Maritime Academy.
