Staci Liversedge
Chartered Legal Executive
Staci’s experience includes dealing with complex clinical negligence cases, including injuries sustained during or around birth such as cerebral palsy type cases, brain injuries, cauda equina syndrome and severe orthopaedic injuries. She has over 12 years’ experience working in the field. Staci enjoys helping clients who have sustained life changing and serious injuries as she likes helping improve their quality of life as part of the litigation process, for example putting into place specialist rehabilitation, helping arrange appropriate accommodation and putting in place future care provisions. Staci has a specialist interest and enjoys helping families with disabled children, such as children with cerebral palsy. Staci has a little girl herself and feels that this has added to her empathy for families with disabled children and her passion to try and help them in whatever way she can. Staci offers a personal and friendly yet professional approach and builds up close relationships with the families she works with. Staci has been involved volunteering with local disabled children’s charities and she is a committee member of a local charity, Hull and District Cerebral Palsy Society. Staci is heavily involved in the day to day running of this charity and her work with them includes helping them organise, plan events and offer advice for their members. She feels that her involvement with the charity helps her offer a full package of support for the families that she works with and understand their needs as the help and advice that she can offer is not limited to just legal matters, she can help in many other ways. Staci is a regular contributor to the national cerebral palsy information website cerebralpalsy.org.uk which provides support to those affected by the condition by offering impartial information on a broad range of subjects and acts as a directory of organisations that are most suitable to help each individual enquiry.
