Saria is one of our partners who was admitted as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) in 2012. She has an in-depth knowledge of Immigration and Human Rights law. By frequently updating her knowledge base, she ensures that her clients receive the best legal representation. She has been spearheading our free immigration clinic program which provides representation and advice for those facing issues with affordability. She also makes it a point to undertake prison work and help foreign nationals who might not be aware of their legal rights, especially when they are faced with deportation. She has been very vocal about increasing the public awareness of immigration law, especially the Human Rights Act 1998 and its impact. Various radio programmes and Sky TV have sought her out in the past for her insight on various aspects pertaining to immigration law. She was awarded Pro Bono Lawyer of 2013 from CILEx as recognition for her tireless work.

BHB Law were recommended to me by my mother. They assisted her with her application for Indefinite Leave to Remain and ultimately helped her secure her citizenship (2016 to 2020.) My own application for leave to remain (starting 2019) was complex and required 3rd party input, argument through legal precedence and the writing of expert reports. Miss Bashir handled these undertakings with excellence. Throughout this stressful process I received expert advice, suggestions for avenues of progress and support.
I am deeply grateful to Saria, Karen and the entire team at BHB Law for their care and attention in helping resolve the case in my favour.

Outstanding in every sense of the word
Myself and my partner used BHB to help with his immigration into the UK. At the time, we were in a long distance relationship and wanting a future together. The BHB team, Saria especially, helped us accomplish this dream. She was thorough and advised both sides on what to do. Despite the inital rejection, she helped us re-apply, and it was successful which resulted in 8 years of long distance being closed and us finally getting married. She advised on our next steps of him remaining in the country; which has been a success.
Saria and the team are professional, consistent, and above all friendly. They are very sensitive to both mine and my husband's disabilities and mental health struggles. I couldn't recommend them enough. The team were very accomodating to our schedules especially when my husband still lived in Brazil and the 4 hour time zone difference, and always did their best to make each appointment both professional, friendly, and welcoming.
They are very organised with paperwork, which was a lot in our case, and kept us informed of anything we would need, often times paperwork we didn't even realise we would need.
We will continue using BHB until all steps of my husband's immigration are complete.
