Sophie advises on a broad range of Private Client work, dealing with the preparation of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), Estate Planning, and Probate / Estate Administration. Sophie originally studied Biology at Imperial College, and then completed her law conversion and legal practice course at Oxford Brookes University and the College of Law respectively. She qualified as a solicitor in 2010, having completed her training contract with a law firm in London and spent four years working as a solicitor in City law firms. After a period away from the law working in education, Sophie retrained into private client law in 2019, and joined Parfitt Cresswell in 2024 from a highly regarded regional firm in the Thames Valley. Sophie is an Associate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and is working towards full membership. Sophie is known for her friendly and empathetic manner with clients and seeks to take a practical approach to what can often be complex or difficult circumstances.
