Emily is an assistant solicitor in the probate department. She deals with Wills, Powers of Attorney, trusts, the administration of estates and Court of Protection work. As well as assisting partners Rhian Williams and Louise Williams, Emily manages her own caseload. She assists with deputyship matters where one of the partners has been appointed as a professional deputy. Emily has the day-to-day running of these files, working on behalf of clients who have lost mental capacity and who are particularly vulnerable. She has the responsibility of ensuring that their rights and interests are properly protected. She advises on all aspects of making a Will, including Inheritance Tax matters and whether tax planning is advisable.
