An international divorce professionally managed by one of the best
Frances Bentley turned out to be one of my lifetimes best pieces of luck. I say this as my experience with Frances started via an internet search for `best family lawyer` and up popped the name Frances Bentley of McAlister. That was the lucky element of my experience and the rest I would summarise as a highly professional, value for money and objective management of a complex case . Plus France was a delight to work with as her mind is Frances best asset.
Why do I say this? Frances listened and learnt well as mine was a complex case involving international legal jurisdictions and multiple assets in both the UK and Japan. Frances adapted quickly her knowledge of the UK family law to my case and fully engaged in getting up to speed with the legal implications of Japan family law, which at best is challenging. Frances has a trap door memory and this proved priceless in recalling both my specific facts over an 18 month period and case law on the hoof when challenged by judges during hearings.
I should add that the entirety of my case was held across the Covid period and as such all hearings and meeting were online, again another element managed very well across multiple time zones.
Frances is professionally well connected with learned barristers and if your case requires it, you can trust Frances to pair you with the right representation.
Divorce isnt easy but Frances put a human face to a challenging time of life and I`m grateful for Frances`s insightful leadership, thought provocation, legal navigation and fantastic listening skills.

Excellent work
Excellent advice and friendly approach. Had a long drawn out process and was supported throughout with solid advice and support. Hope I never have to use family lawyers again but if I do I will know where to go.

Highly Recommended
Frances is a total professional, clearly knows her field and it was a relief to have her fighting my corner. She kept me updated every step of the way and I really felt she had got my back. She is so efficient, the minute anything needs doing it's done. Having her on my side definitely took away some of the stress of my divorce.

Amazing service

Divorce
My divorce has taken nearly 2 years and has been a very stressful experience mainly due to my ex wife and her solicitors very negative behaviour. My solicitor, Miss Frances Bentley, has been the absolute model of professionalism, empathy, forward thinking and has been the angel on my shoulder. Without Frances, the divorce would have been the most horrendous experience I’ve had for years, and I’m a firearms police officer in the Metropolitan Police, so that may tell you how griefy it has been.
Frances and her company have lived my experience with me but whereas I took the emotional hit, the help and assistance they’ve provided is second to none. If you need a divorcé solicitor and company, then I can’t recommend Frances and McAlister Family Law highly enough.

Excellent service
I cannot thank McAlisters Solicitors enough especially Frances. She gave great advice. We have laughed and I have cried on the phone to her during what has been a very difficult time. She never once made me feel like I wasn’t worth listening to. Frances truly had her work cut out with my ex’s solicitor who was so obstructive. She was very professional till the end. Brigid also took the time out to call me when I was having to deal with a distressing situation with my ex. I thank her very much because I kept her talking for a very long time and at no point did she try and rush me she dealt with me in a very professional and sensitive manner. And thank you to Lauren who I know did a lot of work for me behind the scenes. They are a credit to McAlisters.
