Divorce
I found Nicola to be very helpful and very easy to talk to. She helped me navigate the various challenges in my divorce proceedings in a sympathetic and informative way. Divorce
Made my tricky divorce easy. My original lawyer became sick and I had to switch mid divorce but Nicola made the transition smooth. Also continued to chase my husband’s team when they weren’t always as quick at responding

Would highly recommend!
Having undergone a fairly difficult time in all aspects of a separation Nicola was a great help! She was both professional and knowledgeable guiding me through the whole process helping me to understand the impact of some of the conditions being considered. As a result I have an agreement agreed with positive outcomes and moved on with buying my own home. I don't think I could have done it without her! Thank you.

Would highly recommend!
Was having a particularly difficult time trying to resolve my separation agreement however Nicola was a great help! Guided me through the whole process and, although it took a while, I gained a positive outcome. Nicola is very professional and knowledgeable, taking time to go through the process. Support in securing shared care for my daughter
I contacted Scullion Law, whilst looking for legal representation during a difficult time personally when my little girl's mum, and I, where finding it difficult to reach an agreement regarding the shared care of our daughter.
I had previously secured a temporary order through a Sheriff Court, with representation from another firm. My little girl is the most important thing in my world and it was important that I had the utmost confidence in my legal representation to assist me in advocating for what was in my child's best interests. I found that I was asked at times to consider what was easiest to negotiate as opposed to advocating what was in my daughter's best interests. This led me to seek new representation, and after some searching I am happy to say I was able to secure the representation of Nicola Buchanan, at Scullion Law.
I found Nicola's approach to be proactive and direct. I also found her willing and able to advocate for what I felt was in my daughters best interest. This has resulted in an agreement being reached on schooling and shared cared for our daughter, that has been affirmed in a Sheriff Court.
Nicola's representation enabled a extremely difficult personal situation to conclude with an agreement that I believe is in my daughters best interests. An agreement that, as a Dad, I found other solicitors not feeling confident in advocating for.
As a father I appreciated being heard by Nicola, her listening and representation has ensured my daughter went to the best school for her, at the right time. The representation has ensured that a shared care arrangement, that had been in place since we as parents separated, will continue and give my daughter the certainty and security she needed, but most importantly deserves.
The process was not an easy one emotionally or financially. In comparison to other firms, I did find Scullion Law's fees easier to understand, and therefore easier to financially plan and manage.
I would hope that very few would need the support of the family court system and/or legal representation in coming to agreement on family matters. For those needing such support however, I would recommend Nicola Buchanan from Scullion Law.
