She joined Guy Williams Layton in 1990 and was made a Partner in 1992. As Head of the Private Client Department she has over 25 years of experience in all aspects of private client work ranging from insolvent estates to multi million pound trusts and estates. Mother’s estate
We have been with GWL for many years. From the day Jane Hogg took over she has been outstanding in her care and support. Both whilst my mum was alive and in dealing with her estate after she passed away. Mum and I found Jane to be clear in explaining things, easy to engage with on the phone and brought light into our days whenever we spoke to her on the phone. Her compassion, encouragement and approach meant so much to us. I can still hear my mum say….’phone Jane’ she will know what to do! Thank you Jane (and Nicola who would also speak to mum and I). I always recommend GWL when friends are looking for a solicitor.

Prompt and efficient probate and estate administration
Jane Hogg has acted throughout the probate application and administration of the estate of my deceased relative. She prepared the estate accounts and dealt with any income tax issues.

Excellent Service and persistence to solve problems
GWL have been great throughout the process of dealing with a lengthy and complex estate on behalf of a charity. There are so many details which they have arranged and dealt with on our behalf and throughout they provided excellent communication and great value fees.
Very highly recommended. We deal with many firms of solicitors but GWL stand out for their professionalism and value.

Wills. House conveyance.
Handled Wills for us patiently and professionally, especially when changes were required.
Also a few years ago handled the conveyancing when we were buying our bungalow. Made everything very easy for us and took away any worries.
