Ron undertook his Training Contract in the Civil Litigation Department of Gamlins, qualifying as a Solicitor in 2003. Ron’s employment practice includes representing both Respondents and Claimants. He has experience in advising large public companies and SME’s and has a particular speciality in company restructuring, redundancy exercises, TUPE issues, unfair/constructive dismissal and discrimination claims. Ron also advises on financial matters following divorce/separation. Outside of the office Ron is an avid follower of rugby, having been forced to hang-up his boots many years ago. Ron will be President of the Cheshire and North Wales Law Society in 2017 and also holds a number of non-executive Director roles.

Ron and his respected colleagues have dealt with myself over a number of issues in the 35 years I first went to Gamlins over a serious motor bike accident. Pre-nup advice
Mr Davison put my mind at rest and explained why the pre-nup was not the best approach for me. Very clear, friendly service. I did not feel at all persuaded and was about to make my own decision. I wouldn't go anywhere else now.
