A Definite Recommendation
Chris Hugo is a consumate professional and a joy to deal with - at a trying and stressful time, he has repeatedly made me feel as though I am in very safe hands, and consistently gone the extra mile to represent me. In an ideal world, this will be my only experience of redundancy - but if I am unlucky enough to go through it again in the future, I hope to have him in my corner! His assistant, Karen Parker, is also a credit to the organisation.

Redundancy settlement agreement review
Being told that your role is going to be made redundant is not pleasant. Let's just say that this wasn't my "first rodeo"! Unlike my previous experiences though, this time it came with an agreement to sign. Fourteen pages of "legalese" to digest and understand - joy!
My prior experience with firms of solicitors has been rather limited to conveyancing and the creation of a will in the past, so this was very much uncharted territory for me. Chris and his secretary made the process so much less daunting than it could have been. Chris reviewed the agreement for me and then explained the conditions and implications to me in language that made sense to me. Coupled with advice about other options and what the UK employment laws required, I was able to make an informed decision about the way forward. Which is exactly what I wanted. Thank you!

Excellent Service

Redundancy
Chris Hugo and the entire Knocker & Foskett team were excellent and I would highly recommend them to anyone who needed support with an employment matter. At every stage of the procress they were clear, professional, open and extremely helpful. From the first contact with their reception to the advice and support given by the legal team they were a credit to the legal profession.
The team, in my opinion, went further than was required not only to ensure a good outcome to the process, but also to explain every part of the procedure and legalities, so that I was well informed at every step. Enormously impressed
