Great support through divorce
I was going through a long and drawn out divorce which was having a detrimental effect on all areas of my life. Heather stepped in and I couldn’t have asked for a more dedicated, professional and kind individual to support me through the process and get me out the other side in a positive state.

Legal Support in Financial Arrangements for Divorce
I was represented by Heather Lucy of McAlister Family Law in navigating the financial settlement of a divorce in which communication had broken down. Heather's conduct and navigation through this process was exemplary. Naturally, I found the whole situation difficult and wanted nothing more to navigate it as smoothly as possible with as little drama as possible and not have an unneccesary fight with my ex-wife's solicitor. Heather not only facilitated this but where my ex-wife's solicitor was difficult and unprofessional, Heather disarmed the situation to get us back on track and did so in a manner that built and reinforced trust in her capabilities. I am very, very grateful for her skill, demeanour, and character.
When I was finding things particularly difficult she reached out to give me some contacts to help my situation. She in no way had to do that but this level of professional care should be recognized.
I never want to be in the position of needing their services again but if I do I would reach out to Heather and McAlister Family Law without hesitation.

Professional and personal
McAlister supported me through my divorce, and I cannot thank them enough. Heather and Caroline were super efficient, very professional and very understanding. Everything was done in an efficient manner. I would absolutely recommend (and did!)

I can't recommend McAlister Family Law enough. From my initial meeting with Amanda, and then throughout my case with Heather, I have felt in extremely safe hands. Heather was brilliant. She is friendly, professional, and diligent. She also has second to none attention to detail! Clear and helpful

Couldn't be more satisfied with the service
I cannot praise the care and attention to detail exhibited by Heather Lucy throughout the process of my settlement. She gave me very clear advice, made me aware of my options and my obligations. HMCTs were a little inefficient but Heather kept on at them so that my case was resolved in the most efficient manner for all, saving both parties a lot of unnecessary stress and saving HMCTs a lot of time. Whilst I hope never to need McAllister's services again, I would not hesitate before recommending McAllister and in particular, Heather, to a friend or colleague in need of clear and helpful advice. First Class.

Excellent and supportive.
Heather Lucy handled my case which has taken well over 12 months now. She is knowledgable, professional, friendly and understood my situation every step of the way. Dealing with an unco-operative ex husband has been more than difficult, but Heather knew exactly what to do.

Heather Lucy has been phenomenal
It can feel awkward and strange telling a complete stranger the finer details of a personal or family situation, however with Heather and the whole team I have been met with nothing but understanding, compassion and most importantly action.
