HR Adviser

I am an HR Adviser, providing advice and support to various business clients on their employment law and HR questions and concerns. I am based in our Colchester office and am available for free, no-obligation 15-minute telephone conversations. I enjoy the variety of clients and issues I am called upon to advise on. As a student I enjoyed the academic side of employment law, it made natural sense to want to then work in a field where I could apply that law to various situations. I have worked in employment law for a number of years and from different sides of the fence. The evolving nature of the employer/employee relationship is something that continually amazes me. I chose to join Birkett Long as, being from Colchester, I have long been aware of their good reputation. In my spare time, I enjoy listening to music and I am an incredibly amateur guitar player. Sadly, my love of guitar-based music has not quite manifested itself in my guitar skills but I am still learning and living in hope!
