Andrea Bartholomew is a family law Chartered Legal Executive based at Boys & Maughan's Margate office. She is trained to the same standard as a family law solicitor and is a member of Resolution, a national organisation of family law professionals who work with families and individuals to resolve issues in a constructive way. Andrea has over 24 years’ experience and her areas of expertise include: financial arrangements arising from divorce and separation – Andrea has a wealth of experience in this area and will help you achieve a positive outcome, children disputes – Andrea acts for both mothers and fathers in resolving child arrangements, and nuptial agreement – advising in relation to both pre and post-nuptial agreements. Andrea is known for being practical and committed to all her clients whilst maintaining a non-confrontational approach with the aim of resolving matters without the need for court proceedings. Clients have commented that they find her professional and highly trustworthy, while being kind, understanding and friendly. Andrea initially joined Boys & Maughan in 1995 and became a legal executive in 1996, qualifying as a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, and remained at our Margate office until 2018. Andrea returned to Boys & Maughan in 2020, having spent two years developing her career as part of the family team at another Kent firm of solicitors.
