My family have recently used Lowick McKay selling various houses, one of which under sad circumstances. Bernadette and her team showed compassion, care & explained everything excellently, nothing was too much trouble.
The support we received has been 5 star and we wouldn’t use anyone else.

It was a great experience for me. Bernadette Mckay and her team were very friendly and easily approachable. They were very professional and responded very well.

We sold and bought a house at the same time so once we realised what this company or should I say what Bernadette was like we were in too deep to back out of using them! As soon as we signed the dotted line the communication diminished and we simply became “a number” to this company. We were buying a house through auction which, if anyone has experience this is quite stressful, and means you’re on a very very limited time scale which can cause lots of financial difficulties and losses if not met, this didn’t phase Bernadette in the slightest! She didn’t show any compassion or concern with our worries and priorities if our case wasn’t shown in the slightest! The whole process made myself and my husband quite unwell, and this was largely due to the lack of care and concern in helping us A. Completion of buying our new house, and B. The completion of sale on our old house!

We had to wait 10 months for the sale of our house to complete, this was solely down to the time Bernadette took to compete any part of the case. We had to find information out for her on several occasions just to speed up the process and do her job!

We had our buyers pulling out due to the time taken and Bernadette used to be incredibly rude and unprofessional during phone calls to us!

I don’t like leaving negative reviews for anyone, however if I stop someone from using these solicitors, then I know I’ve done a good deed!


This happened in 2022 but it’s only now that I feel able to speak about it, the whole experience was very traumatic!
