Managing Associate
Lev is an Associate Chartered Legal Executive and Deputy Head of the Family Law Department, he covers our Bridgwater, Taunton, Wellington and Exeter Offices. Prior to joining AmicusLaw, Lev gained his degree in law from Bristol University of the West of England (UWE). After achieving his degree, he then went on to gain further experience working as a part of His Majesty’s Courts and Tribunals Service, before moving on to work for multiple leading South West law firms. Lev has a wealth of knowledge across Family Law with specialities in matters concerning children, divorce and resolution of finances ,cohabitation/separation agreements, pre and post nuptial agreements, and cohabitee disputes. He is a Resolution Accredited Specialist in high net worth divorces (including international divorces) and pensions with specific expertise in public sector pensions such as Army, Police, NHS and Local Government. He also brings a wealth of knowledge surrounding crypto assets. In addition to the above, Lev is also qualified to undertake Resolution Together a new and innovative approach to reduce conflict and resolve disputes which allows lawyers to work with and advise couples jointly, including providing appropriate legal advice, through a divorce or separation Throughout his legal career so far, Lev has achieved fantastic success, having had a reported case in 2023 (JD v RMD [2023] EWFC 125) and defending applications to the Court of Appeal on niche areas of family law. He looks forward to continuing this success at AmicusLaw, working within a supportive team. Having previously played International Rugby for Cyprus, in his down time, he now enjoys spending time playing various sports with his two sons, as well as spending time walking the family dog.
