Kennedy Langley
Solicitor
I am a Solicitor within the Firm's Family Division and based at our Kidderminster office. I advise clients on a full range of issues arising out of relationship breakdown including divorce, financial settlements and disputes concerning children. I also provide advice regarding Pre and Post Nuptial Agreements; Living Together Agreements and Separation Agreements. I advise clients in complex, high value financial matters, including matters involving Intervener applications and non-disclosure of assets. I also act for clients in complex and highly sensitive matters regarding children, to include allegations of domestic abuse and parental alienation. I also supports clients in respect of domestic violence injunctions under the Family Law Act. Each client is dealing with a unique set of circumstances and has different aims and objectives. I provide practical advice, helping clients find the best solution in a proportionate and cost-effective way. While litigation is sometimes necessary, I recognise that it is often beneficial to both sides to reach a negotiated settlement through alternative routes and works to settle cases outside of court where possible. J obtained her First Class Law degree from the University of Nottingham in 2019 where I won the John Hooper & Co award for academic excellence in Family Law. I then went on to achieve a Distinction in my LPC LLM at the University of Law in Birmingham before joining the Firm as Trainee in 2020.
