Sorted out my redundancy with speed and clarity
I met with Catherine who helped me go through my redundancy agreement and explained everything to me. It's not the easiest thing to go through a settlement letter when you are still reeling from the shock of it and I was put well at ease. Changes were made and handled painlessly (from my perspective at least) and the whole thing was sorted out without me losing my sanity. Thanks!

Settlement agreement
I've never before had the need to seek legal support in relation to employment matters but approached CSJ and Catherine as a result of the multiple favourable reviews. Having made contact via the website, I received a very prompt response and was able to arrange an initial consultation with Catherine very soon after. In advance of the initial consultation and at every stage in the following process I found that CSJ was extremely transparent with regard to fees and I received regular communication enabling me to manage costs. At the initial consultation I found Catherine to be warm and empathic as well as clearly exceptionally knowledgeable and professional. Even as a lay-person, withbher explanation I was able to understand the relative strength of my position which allayed my concerns and gave me real confidence for what followed. Catherine's support was invaluable in enabling me to stand up for my rights. I set out what I hoped to achieve in engaging CSJ and, with Catherine's support, my expectations were exceeded. Professional and reassuring
So impressed with Catherine and Charmagne at CSJ. They were very fast to respond and super professional throughout the whole process. Catherine helped me negotiate a good settlement, but, more than that, she empathised and made me feel so much better about a pretty horrible situation, which was much-needed at the time.

A force of nature
Catherine is a force of nature; passionate, relentless, tenacious, considerate, kind and encouraging; and of course brilliant at what she does. Leading into the legal battle, my wife was barely able to function, and let alone entertain pursuing this matter any further. She was completely shattered. I have no doubt that were it not for the fact that she had Catherine in her corner, my wife would have given up on more than one occasion. There were lots of tears right up until the very end, but every single time either of us were struggling we would remind the other that there were three of us in the battle together. At all times it felt as though Catherine was with us, rather than working on the outside for us. We can’t thank Catherine enough for that, we feel truly privileged to have had Catherine on our side. It was hard fought, but the matter was brought to a close with a satisfactory outcome. We cannot recommend Catherine highly enough.
