Ruth has been the Head of Litigation at a regional practice and comes with vast experience in Dispute Resolution, Rural and Equine Law matters. Ruth has previously been the Head of Equine within the Dispute Resolution team in top 100 law firm. She has previously worked with national governing bodies, private individuals, professionals, business owners, World Class athletes, competitors at all levels and equine breeders on a variety of matters. Ruth has assisted with Anti-Doping hearings at Sport Resolutions UK in London and a variety of other disciplinary tribunal matters and selection disputes within the Sports Law sector. Ruth was an international Para-equestrian athlete herself spending her early years in the Pony Club before suffering an accident which left her with disability affecting her riding career. The Riding for the Disabled Association got Ruth back in the saddle and she progressed to be a UK Sport World Class Athlete with Paralympic ambitions. Ruth’s children now follow in her Pony Club footsteps and Ruth is proud to be a Regional Chairman for the Riding for the Disabled Association volunteering her time to support others.
