Antonia is a Family Solicitor who graduated in Law at University of East London. She then went to complete her Legal Practice Course (LPC) at University of Law. Antonia has experience in advising and representing clients on a wide variety of private family matters, including: - Divorce and separation; - Financial settlements; - Children; - Domestic abuse and injunction proceedings - Pre-nuptial agreements. Antonia’s approach is both human and pragmatic and her focus will always be on achieving the best possible outcome for her client. Whether it is through negotiation or court proceedings, Antonia strives to make the legal process as smooth and stress-free as possible for her clients, while protecting their rights and interests. Having trained at a well-known full-service firm in the City, she qualified as a Solicitor in April 2024 and joined a niche specialist family firm where she gained significant experience in dealing with vulnerable clients, including victims of domestic abuse. She dealt with privately funded matters and Legal Aid funded work regarding child arrangements and divorce and financial proceedings. In January 2025, Antonia joined IMD Solicitors LLP as a Family Solicitor where she will deal with a wide spectrum of family matters, including international Family Law. Antonia is multilingual, being fluent in Romanian, Italian and Spanish. Her skills enable her to bridge communication gaps and create trust with the clients who may feel more comfortable discussing sensitive matters in their native language. Examples of cases Antonia dealt with: 1. Assisted in leading case at East London Family Court where proceedings were for ascertaining the DNA of Identical Twins to establish which of the twins is the Father of the child subject to the proceedings; 2. Assisted in proceedings involving spousal maintenance and division of assets where Husband and Wife had properties across the UK and internationally in Brazil; 3. Represented vulnerable couple in their joint application for contact with their daughter who was subject to a Special Guardianship Order.
