Life Saver
I recently had the privilege of being represented by Claire Anderson, the main solicitor, and Claire Davies, KC Defence Counsel, in a trial that exceeded all expectations. Claire Anderson
I was on bail for 4 years over this time there was trailer set and canceled … interviews held though out the uk .. Claire worked day and night to make sure everything was 100% for when we got to trailer she also traveled to my interviews she kept me right at all times before and after and throughout the interviews kept in touch over the 4 years kept me update and just called to check in I honestly wouldn’t have made it though that time with Claire she reassured but was honest I would trust her with my life ( I did ) she’s understanding and doesn’t judge she is amazing and soo good at what she dose she goes way over and beyond her duties

I contacted ABV solicitors for help for my stepson, I received a call from a solicitor called Claire Anderson, who from the very start was extremely helpful and very friendly and approachable.
My stepson had to appear in Magistrates court and crown court over a period of 3 years, in this time, if I had any questions etc, Claire was on hand to answer then.

Wow. What a godsend. Saved me and cleared my name
In short: Claire was the perfect person to protect me from a very serious, false-accusation of abusing my baby. Working swiftly and proactively she returned me to me family in around a month, resolving the matter in a community resolution (vs a charge/ court/ much-much worse). Claire was all of the below adjectives and more. I can't recommend her enough.
In long: in the early days of being a first time father, I was dealing with increased stress, frustration & anger while dealing with a colic baby. While noticing this increase, and not being proud of what I was thinking/ feeling, I consulted with an known therapist to help me with these feelings. Somewhere, something got lost in translation and very quickly my life got turned upside down. I was arrested under Section 18 GBH, accused of being a "baby shaker" (and other sub-accusations) that stemmed from a rather insignificant incident.
I was arrested and separated from my family while they were sent to a week of lock up in hospital to do scans on my 6 week old baby. Within 2-3 days the implications of the false accusation (aka: prison), loomed heavily over me and it was clear I needed some pre-charge representation and not sit idly. In the 7 days following the arrest I spoke to 30 different solicitors as I tried to learn the legal space. Having contacted some legally-focused charities, Claire's name came HIGH on the list as a specialist for these matters. Claire handled my situation with enormous compassion (such a welcome relief), showed a clear action plan from the get go, and comparatively to many others was charging a reasonable rate. There wasn't a single thing off with her service, demeanor, or thinking. Within 24 hours I instructed her and the work began.
After such a significant experience, there's a lot I could say. I'll summarise by saying that Claire adapted her strategy every time a new piece of information came to light, she communicated clearly, taking the time to call me so I knew every last detail and could ask all the questions, and emails where that sufficed. Another bonus is that she didn't "just defend me" but rather working really well with the officer on the case to bridge the gap between the two parties and come to a mutual understanding.
One of the most notable moments of excellence was when I was supposed to be discharged with a community resolution (CR) but then last minute (literally 1 hour before) the Inspector in charge of releasing the case deemed it was too serious an accusation to let off with a CR, they said "Caution or Court". Despite me being desperate to return to my family, Claire strongly advised me to not take the caution because of the implications and then within 4 working days wrote the most accurate, fair & heartwarming representation of me, my situation, and how the situation arose. This lead the Discharging Inspector to agree that a CR would suffice and that was that.
All in all, I highly recommend Claire and hope that she may bring about the freedom that she did for me and my family!!

Amazing service
I was once accused of a crime by the British Transport Police and had to attend a voluntary interview. The process was of course stressful, but with help from Claire Anderson, I got a no further action. She is a very proactive lawyer who gives the best advice possible. I highly recommend her!

Claire Anderson was very helpful from the moment she spoke to me about my Case and throughout the three years of waiting.
Claire understands the pain I was going through without telling her. She was so professional and has empathy towards me. There were many occasions that I was in the darkness and lost, she could sense it and have her way of given me hope to stay focused and let Justice prevailed.
She understands the mental health impact on me, and my loved ones and she was very prompt and would explain everything clearly to me. She is an amazing woman and a diligent one! VL

Great legal work and support
I was falsely accused of three charges by a woman whom was supposed to stay in my guestroom for a week when she was moving from New York to London. On the first night, she claimed her passport, wallet, money and valuables had been stolen (she later accused myself of stealing these) and for the first week she was according to her too sick to leave the guest room. When she refused to leave having overstayed her welcome for 4 weeks I called the Police to remove her from my flat, however, instead of waiting for the police to come she went to a police station and accused me of horrendous charges. She later also accused me of stealing designer clothes and other belongings worth thousands of pounds.
