Jake joined Tozers in June 2022 as a Paralegal in our Exeter based Residential Property team. He assists team members with the purchase, sale and re-mortgaging of properties. Jake appreciates how the process of purchasing or selling a property can often be stressful, so he enjoys being able to assist in delivering a high-quality service as a part of the conveyancing team to make the client’s transactions a seamless experience. In 2020 Jake graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a Bachelor of Law degree. Later in 2022 he plans to study for the Solicitors Qualifying Exams (SQE) with a masters in law at the University of Law. His previous experience as a conveyancing assistant for 18 months has allowed him to build the foundational skills for assisting in the conveyancing process. In his spare time he enjoys going for long walks on Dartmoor with his dog.

Very helpful in what was a a difficult sale of a bungalow given there were Land Registry problems to overcome requiring more work to ensure the boundary issues were correctly included in the registration. Kept me updated during what turned out to be a lengthy process through no fault of the legal team.

When buying/selling your house, everybody always complains how slow the solicitors seem to be. Got to say dealing with Tozers, Jake Reed and Sam Reid have been efficient and on the ball. Emails/queries answered promptly. I've been very impressed and will recommend to others.

Sam and his team were efficient and timely. Always happy to help and respond to our queries promptly. If one of the team is off, another would cover which just shows their team work and does help the client greatly. Ive done multiple transaction with different solicitors but Tozers, Sam specifically have exceeded our expectation. The overall conveyancing was smooth and effecient - just what we wanted. Quick and efficient

Excellent customer service!
We recently moved house with the help of Sam and Jake. We cannot thank them enough. They were extremely helpful and reassuring throughout the whole process. They were quick to reply to our queries and explained everything in a clear way for us. They guided us each step of the way and made a stressful experience much more straightforward. Sam and Jake Reed were amazing, we brought our first house with Sam, and just sold/brought our second house. We didn’t even think of going anywhere else as we got such a great service on the first experience!

The service we received was absolutely brilliant.
Both Sam and Jake worked hard to keep us informed about the progress of the sale.
Sam was able to guide us through the process (which at times can be daunting) and keep us at ease and to not get over anxious!
I would recommend this firm and would use them again.
