Scott joined Bhatia Best in 2009 as a Paralegal and is now a Partner of the firm. As a senior solicitor in the Public Law department, Scott manages a caseload of Judicial Reviews challenging decisions made by public bodies which often go against the rights of vulnerable individuals. Many of Scott’s cases appear in the British and Irish Legal Information Institute (BAILII) reports. As department supervisor, Scott manages a team of Solicitors, Trainees and Paralegals to process cases with exceptional care and skill, always identifying and raising new challenges. Once a case is decided in the High Court, the downstream effect is that a precedent is created that often brings about changes to the way in which a public body operates its decision-making process. S95 Immigration help
For over 9 months, my asylum case was pending with the home office, and I had trouble obtaining my asylum card for myself and my two young children, both under 4 years old. I struggled to convey my urgent needs to the authorities, as they repeatedly delayed the process and kept asking for the same documents after long waits. Thankfully, I was referred to Bhatia Solicitors through the British Red Cross Society, and within 2 months, I received my asylum card. This was all thanks to the diligent efforts of the solicitor firm, as they fought for my case tirelessly. I am incredibly grateful for their support, and I hope they can continue to assist me in other matters, as they were the only ones who understood and fulfilled my rightful needs. Unlike social workers and other agencies, who failed to support me due to my unsettled status and overlooked my humanity, Bhatia Solicitors provided the essential help I needed.

I appreciate the firm for helping me get my BRP card with the correct detail after several months of waiting.
