Chris is a Partner at Forbes, Head of the firm's Anti-Fraud Team and Head of the Insurance department. He is a member of the Insurance Department's Retail Group and is also responsible for managing the Industrial Disease claims handling team. He is a member of the firm's IT committee and Chair of the firm wide Risk Management committee. He is recognised in the Legal 500 2017 edition where it is said that he 'truly goes the extra mile to secure results for his clients regardless of the overall value of the claim'. Chris is a member of a number of external national Fraud Focus Groups and works in conjunction with a number of partner agencies including numerous police forces nationally in the investigation of large scale fraud rings. Many of these investigations have received extensive press coverage including those where convictions have followed. One such case was highlighted in a lead article in 'The Law Society's Gazette' as a warning to Claimants' solicitors following a high profile fraud trial success for his client resulting in the withdrawal of claims saving insurers over £1million.
