Excellent team who really turned things around for us
We recently went through the process of purchasing our first home which was a new build home with Hewitts solicitors. The team were excellent in supporting us and were so efficient at turning around documentation and requesting information wherever needed.
We were expecting the solicitor side of things within the purchase to be the hardest and longest process but actually they were quicker than our mortgage application!!
Jannine Henderson, Fran Adamson, Helen Moore, Leanne Telford and Grace Oakley at the Stockton branch all deserve praise and I thank them for being part of our buying journey and working all together to help make our process smoother and better than I had expected.
Thank you so much and we would highly recommend using them for house buying and would come back again in the future.

Excellent solicitors
From start to finish the entire experience was painless and very quick, I couldn't recommend them more. The only issue we had was that we didn't get a final invoice till the end so didn't know how much we were paying and when asked they were quite obscure.

Shocking service.
Hewitts were about as poor as we could imagine. From shocking communication, shockingly intrusive questions, to forgotten payments. We have been in our new house almost a month now and we have received multiple letters asking for payments that Hewitts ‘forgot’ to ask for, which could affect our credit score. I can’t stress enough how much I strongly advise everyone to avoid this amateuroutfit.
