Lily is a Solicitor in our Conveyancing team. Lily joined Bell Lamb and Joynson as a Paralegal in 2019 and was a Trainee from January 2021 until she qualified as a Solicitor in October 2022. Lily studied at the University of Central Lancashire where she completed her degree in Law and master’s in law, combined with the Legal Practice Course. Between 2016 and 2018 Lily worked part-time at Birchall Blackburn Law in the new business and post-completions conveyancing team, whilst she was at university. Lily loves to spend time with colleagues and believes that having a great work atmosphere and a friendly approach helps to make clients feel at ease. She loves to create relationships with clients, gain their trust, share her knowledge about buying or selling a property, and help clients through what can be a stressful process.

Best Solicitor we,ve ever had
Lily was the best solicitor we have ever had. She was so efficient and maintained great communication throughout the buying process. Excellent service, extremely professional solicitor
I had the pleasure of Lily being my solicitor when it came to selling my home and my husband buying our new house. All throughout the process lily kept us both up to date and ensured the process was smooth and streamline, dealing with the estate agents and the buyer which meant I didn’t need to do anything. Flat purchase
We had to purchase a ground floor flat for my Mother due to the appalling condition of the flat she was renting and her health conditions..Bell Lamb & Joynson were recommended and proved to be a great recommendation. Lily was our main solicitor she was very professional helpful friendly and VERY understanding of our situation she was patient and answered our emails, calls in good time Lily explained everything to us and we would recommend BLJ in fact we already have.

Professional and knowledgeable
Our over all experience was that the firm acted at all times with our best interest in mind, great legal knowledge and professional. The app available gave us access to a chat where we could converse with our solicitors directly. At times we did feel that the team could have taking into consideration that we were first time buyers and had no previous knowledge of the process and been a bit more approachable. Towards the end, with issues on the sellers behalf, they worked very hard to get everything sorted which we were very grateful for.

Fantastic conveyancing experience
Lily Dehnad and Emma Coathup were both professional, efficient and empathetic during my property sale and purchase. I was really pleased with their work throughout the entire process. I also really liked the app used by BL&J which enabled me to message Lily and Emma and share documents, and having a local office to pop into with signed documents was really helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend BL&J and particularly Lily and Emma.
