I initially instructed Paul Reay in order to gain more contact with my son. This was now a number of years ago and therefore in that time I have got to know Paul extremely well. As well as being a specialist in children law, Paul is someone who I easily connected with on a human level. Paul has extremely good knowledge and a deep understanding of the law, including Parental Alienation, which was crucial for my case. Prior to instructing Paul, my relationship with my son was hanging in the balance, yet having secured a significant increase in time with my son, things have all changed. Depend on Paul!
Paul worked tirelessly to resolve a difficult situation with an ex partner that previous solicitors had failed to progress. I would highly recommend him for his professionalism and strong work ethic that speedily resolved a situation that had previously dragged on. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is dealing with anything that needs resolving in relation to family matters and difficult ex partners.

Child Arrangement Order
I was midway through my second set of family court proceedings when I was recommended to get in contact with Paul at McAlister Family Law.
From the beginning, I knew I had made the right decision. Paul has been very approachable, easy to talk to, friendly and very professional throughout.
It was a pleasure to meet him in person during my final hearing where his previous knowledge and experience was obvious. He was able to accurately predict what would happen in the court room, made the process easy for me to understand and gave me ongoing advice as the case progressed. He has also been on hand afterwards with the draft final court order, to ensure there is no ambiguity in the wording.
My only regret is not being in contact with Paul much sooner.

Paul Reay.
Paul was knowledgable and keen to progress things which was great, but just as importantly was easy to get on with which made things a lot easier and more painless than I was expecting.
Yes, he was doing his job but does it in a way that makes you feel he’s got your best interests at heart and is working hard for you.
I’d definitely recommend Paul to anybody and would be straight on the phone to him again if needed. Top bloke, top firm. Simple as that!

A fantastic solicitor
Paul immediately put my mind at ease as soon as I spoke to him. He was quick to respond each time I had a query, and even offered emotional advice on occasion. He really helped get my case moving quickly when I felt stuck with a previous solicitor. I would recommend this firm.

With us every step of the way!
Paul took over our complicated family case at a time of intense stress. My child was in a traumatised state and had become extremely unwell, due to ongoing harmful parental contact. Paul identified the issues immediately and understood that my child was at risk. He has worked steadfastly to manage the case with care and attention to detail.
Paul has been by our side every step of the way. He prioritised the safety and wellbeing of my son at all times throughout a challenging time. Simply Amazing
Paul stepped in to assist with my partner's case at a crucial time when it appeared she was being positioned for failure—a scenario that could have had negative implications for her and her son. Immediately, Paul cut through the extraneous details to identify the crux of the issue. Six months on, we secured the positive outcome that my partner and her son truly deserved. Could not have asked for anyone better
I am so thankful that I met Paul who dealt with my family court case. From the moment I met him I knew he would be perfect. He listened and heard every word I said and understood me even when I just bombarded him with all the information. He was able to unpick and interpret it all to ensure it could be understood and presented in court the best way possible. As a parent he empathised massively and more importantly he got it. This along with his knowledge and expertise around the legal system allowed me to get the perfect outcome for my case. He is absolutely brilliant to have in your corner. Not only is he professional but his manner makes you feel at ease and in such emotional times that’s exactly what I needed.
