Tony has a BA Law Honours degree from Manchester and qualified as a solicitor in 1988. He has worked at the firm for over 30 years. Heading up our Care Department, he is a member of the Law Society Children Panel and the firm's Supervisor for Legally Aided family matters. Tony has vast experience in Family Law matters and specialises in representing parents or children in the Family Court where the Local Authority have applied for care or supervision orders, emergency protection orders, placement orders or secure accommodation orders. He also deals with applications for contact to a child in care; applications to discharge a care order, and applications relating to deprivation of a child's liberty. Tony also advises parents in the pre-proceedings process.
