Many thanks and all good wishes for the future.
From my first contact with Olliers, I felt reassured that your firm was the right one to help with what, initially at least, felt like a devastating situation for our family. I think it was Ruth I spoke with and she listened to it all and was really clear and calm with explaining the help that was available. You clearly had experience of Asperger’s Syndrome, ADHD and mental health issues which we knew was needed to get appropriate support and advice. I was completely confident when we subsequently spoke with you that you fully understood the issues and could support us through whatever was to come. It was a great relief to pass on all the information I had gleaned about what had happened and then to have someone professionally and personally be able to take things forward. You were direct and clear with giving information which is what was needed.

Discharge of SHPO achieved
I approached the firm via their website via the electronic enquiry option, and recieved a response very promptly (Ruth Peters). Fees were clearly set out, and prospects for a succesful resolution clearly explained. I wanted to apply for discharge of a SHPO, a very onerous condition and potentially not easy to achieve, although it was explained I had a good case and made easy to understand what I needed to supply. I would not have known the legal precendent on which it hinged, so a DIY effort might not have been successful. Also post-Covid admin chaos at court made it necessary for lots of chasing up which I would have hated to do myself, but my solicitor James Claughton did this whenever needed. He always promptly returned my calls, texts or emails, which was a great help for my anxiety levels. The cost was not cheap but it was up front and honest, they are specialists in this area and proved it; it was vital for me to get the right result (it's a big human rights issue) so I consider it money well spent.

Very grateful.
Following the successful outcome in Birkenhead last week I wanted to write to both yourself and Ruth to say thank you for your advice and support over the last couple of months. I was also very grateful for you joining me on the day as that gentle support was very valuable to me.

It was a pleasure dealing with Olliers.
Throughout my interactions with Ruth she displayed extreme competency and knew the intricacies related to drink driving offences. I still remember how, six months ago, I thought everything was ruined, thought my career would end.

Ruth and the barrister at trial were all incredible and their understanding of drink driving law really is impressive. The barrister in court was phenomenal to watch and really was a master at his art. It was an insight to not only his skill but also the alarming lack of understanding from the police and the CPS of drink driving law.

Ruth removed almost all of the stress I was under due to the professional consequences of the case but after we won I also found out the Crown have to reimburse some of my expenses which is fantastic.

Ruth put together an amazing defence and a brilliant team of forensic specialists to guide me to victory and I was awarded costs by the court so hopefully some of my legal fees will be coming back to me!

I can only describe the whole team as BRILLIANT!
From the very first phone call, Ruth was calm, reassuring and professional but at the same time they managed my expectations well and gave me a frank assessment of my case. They clearly knew what they was talking about and I felt comfortable moving forward with Olliers.
