Michael started his career with Thompsons Solicitors in July 2019 in our Contact Centre. In his role there he assisted with a wide variety of cases at the earliest stage including road traffic accidents, employment issues and cases of historical abuse. It was in this role that Michael was able to work with survivors of abuse and focused on providing a client centred service. In 2020, Michael joined the Survivors Team first as a paralegal before commencing his traineeship in February 2021. Michael qualified as a solicitor in February 2023 and continued his work withing the Survivor Team for a year before moving to our Accident Team where he continues his client centred approach in both pre-litigated, and litigated cases involving employers, public, and occupier’s liability claims. Michael specialises in civil litigation and has advanced cases at all levels of court within Scotland. He is certified as Trauma Aware by the Law Society in Scotland following his time in our Survivor Team.

About Michael Mazzucco

Thankful for amazing service
Michael took on my case and was determined until the end to see it through to conclusion and secure a really strong result for me when I was unsure whether anything would come of my claim. It is such a relief to know it has been recognised officially I was not at fault and be compensated for lifelong injury accordingly. Professional service
Michael handled what was a very complex and long drawn out case with the utmost care and professionalism.

Successful injury award
I would like to take this opportunity to highly recommend Thompsons and personally thank Michael Mazzucco and Laura Connor who helped me achieve a successful outcome and secure personal damages on what I regard as a sensitive case. Michael was very helpful and would always return my calls efficiently at times I didn’t think we would get there but we did.
