Matt is a Solicitor in the Wealth Management Team at Tozers, specialising in both estate administration and estate planning. With a keen eye for detail, Matt mindfully guides clients through the probate process, collaborating with executors and administrators to ensure estates are settled smoothly and loved ones find closure. Matt works across a range of estates, both taxable and non-taxable. In the realm of estate planning, Matt is proficient in drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, as well as advising on Inheritance Tax Planning. His approach is client-centric, making complex legal matters accessible and understandable. Matt’s personable nature fosters strong relationships, putting clients at ease and ensuring they feel supported throughout the process. Clients can expect Matt to take a genuine interest in their unique circumstances, providing tailored advice that meets their specific needs. Matt joined Tozers in August 2024, bringing with him a wealth of experience. He qualified as a Solicitor in 2021, having trained with a Top 100 Firm in the South West before spending 2.5 years with another Exeter-based firm. Academically, Matt holds a History degree from Exeter University, followed by a Graduate Law Degree. He furthered his education at the University of Law (Moorgate), where he achieved a distinction in LPC MSc Law, Business, and Management. Outside the office, Matt enjoys attending heavy metal gigs and embracing the great outdoors through wild swimming and camping.
