Barker Gotelee recently helped with both the sale of my property and the purchase of a new house and I was extremely happy with the service provided. Nicola Cawthorne was always quick to respond to any enquiries, communication was excellent throughout and was also incredibly patient with various changes that took place to the properties we were buying over a 10 month period from start to finish. I would highly recommend Barker Gotelee if you are buying or selling!

Total satisfaction
Ours was a difficult case to obtain deputyship but Roswyn assured us it would happen and always reassured us with up-to-date emails.
The house conveyance was very easy apart from dealing with the equity release co. But Nicola was very thorough and kept us informed at all times.

Maintaining professionalism in the face of the other party's apparent incompetence
The disposal of our flat proved to be complicated for a number of reasons: located in a high rise block in London; subject to very high service charges; participating in the freehold as a result of enfranchisement; experiencing the 'communication gap' arising from the recent replacement of the managing agent and the fact that the purchaser's solicitor wrongly pursued information that was not required for a cash purchase. Through a frustrating and drawn-out process, our solicitor remained professional, pointing out the law politely and pursuing responses diligently. She always seemed 'on the ball' when - on many occasion - the other party didn't!

Brilliant in helping me sell my flat!
I just want to thank Nicola & Bridgette so much for their conveyancing services during the sale of my flat, they were always very responsive & fees are very reasonable compared to competitors, without service being compromised. I would recommend them to anyone selling or buying a property!
