My legal skills were developed in-house with both British Sugar and One Housing Group (OHG) which is a non-asset holding parent that brings together three housing associations under a group structure: Community Housing Association, Toynbee Housing Association and Island Homes Housing Association. At OHG I assisted the Group Legal Department in managing over 12,000 homes in 26 local authorities across London and adjacent counties and has over 2,700 homes in the development pipeline. These include affordable rented homes, shared ownership schemes, intermediate rent homes for key workers and homes for private sale. I am a Trustee and Company Director of Farleigh Hospice.

Tim Field, Emma Wraight and Kevin Sullivan did a brilliant job on this matter. This case required my firm as administrators to assign 150+ onerous leases to protect circa 850 vulnerable tenants and asylum seekers. Further, as part of the deal we arranged with the landlords, we were able to pay creditors in full plus statutory interest and are in the process of seeking Charity Commission sanction to distribute c£250,000 to three other charities. Without Kevin, Emma and Tim's assistance and guidance, we would not have been able to achieve the assignments and a solvent outcome.

Emma Wraight. Lease - Rent Review & Break Clause advice
Advice from Emma involved gaining information from our Surveyor who has good knowledge of retail rental values for the area concerned. This was achieved quickly & efficiently
