Katy qualified in 2015, having studied Psychology at the University of Sheffield before passing the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course with Distinction at UCLan. She has developed her astute commercial awareness and extensive technical knowledge of employment law whilst working at regional law firms prior to joining Harrison Drury. Katy prides herself on developing excellent relationships with her clients by getting to know their businesses, their objectives and the challenges they face. She is focussed on achieving her clients’ desired outcomes and provides them with tailored commercial advice and pragmatic solutions. Katy advises businesses on all day-to-day aspects of the employment life cycle, and has a particular interest in assisting businesses in dealing with the HR issues they encounter whilst minimising risk to the business. She also provides strategic advice to clients on large-scale projects including restructures and redundancies, variations to terms and conditions, TUPE transfers and outsourcing arrangements.
