Absolutely awful

1

Evans Harvey have been nothing but difficult when we were trying to sell our house. Insisted that we come into the office to be seen face to face (even though we’d already been in) when one of us lives 2 hours away. I explained multiple times that this wasn’t possible due to logistics & the person in question working nights/overtime. They were insistent on expecting him to go without sleep for a face to face appointment that could of been done over the phone/zoom.. anything! It’s the 21st century! At no point were any reasons provided to me as to why they were so insistent on being so unaccommodating. When I complained, I was eventually given reasons saying they had concerns about the transactions. None of which were ever voiced to me. We ended up changing solicitor & they then had the audacity to send me a £200 bill! I would suggest using a solicitor that doesn’t make you feel like a criminal & actually works for their client.
