Approachable and professional
Darren has been exceptional from the moment we made contact with him. He handled everything with dignity, always offering to be helpful and with integrity, always being upfront and transparent. Qualities not often seen in estate agents.
On top of it all he managed sell our house above the asking price!

House sale
Our experience was excellent. We were unsure of whether we wanted to sell our cottage at the start as we were very attached to it. However, the advice and help we got from Tim, Darren, Alastair and all the team was reassuring, helpful, practical and right. From the first contact to the handover of the keys all the team went above and beyond what would be expected to give prompt advice and action at any time. We only used the estate agency service as we had our own lawyer.

Extremely Proactive!
Very professional and extremely proactive in finding me a new Home.
Not an easy task as me and partner have very different ideas of an ideal house! Darren kept us in the loop and was easily contactable at all hours ! Which was much appreciated !

My Watermans experience
I was selling my house on the Isle of Arran.
I initially approached both Watermans and a local estate agent.
The local agent did not visit the property and produced a "desktop valuation".
Watetermans visited the property and their valuation was very close to the figure produced by the subsequent Home Report.
The process of selling a house in Scotland is somewhat different to the process in England. Darren guided me through the process of bringing the property to market and his prompt response to emails and calls was reassuring. Watermans managed the photography, including a drone shoot, virtual tour creation, copywriting and design to produce an impressive brochure.
The legal firm I used 26 years earlier had not retained paperwork from the original purchase but Rachel Stuart was forced to generate the required documentation from alternative sources.
Watermans handled the entire transaction professionally and I was kept informed throughout.

This review relates to the ESTATE AGENCY services provided by Watermans only. It does not relate to any legal/conveyancing activities.
Watermans provided a high quality and cost effective estate agency service for the sale of my late parents' house. Communication was excellent.
I was impressed with the quality of the marketing materials and the online presence created. Viewings were conducted expeditiously and feedback from viewers was provided in a very timely manner. We encountered a problem with our initial offer and Watermans arranged for the house to be re-marketed very efficiently.

Darren and Alister Lee
Darren and Alister have been great professional property partners, who have guided me through the sale of over 50% of my portfolio.
