I have been with Heyman and Co since 1986 and qualified as a Solicitor in 1995. I have vast experience in many areas of legal practice though in the last 10 years I have specialised in Residential Property and Acquisition of building land and subsequent plot sales. I have experience in all areas of residential conveyancing and have strong relationships with many established clients and strive to create such relationships with new ones. I pride myself on giving my clients clear and straightforward advice and making time to listen to their concerns and respond pro-actively.

Fantastic service from Karen and the team

When we were purchasing our first house, Heyman & co were recommended by a few friends and family members. We were put in contact with Karen, Who was able to spot a massive flaw in our first house the second she received the paperwork, one that would have caused major headaches down the line. Thankfully, we took on her advice and looked elsewhere - Finding a much better house that more suited our needs. Throught the buying process, Karen was extremely responsive, giving her full thoughts and being straight to the point - which helped us massively in making decisions especially as this was out first purchase. Fantastic service all around and extremely friendly!!

Completed on our home last Thursday and had used Butcher & Barlow (44 church st leigh) based on a recommendation of how good Karen is.

Kirsty Frain took point on this for us and it took little over 2months from instruction, through to completion with advice/guidance given where needed, laser sharp (in exactly the way you'd want your solicitor to be!)

I hope i don't need conveyancing again any time soon, but if I do i'll be coming straight back here.

I've used Karen Baker twice now, first time for selling, and the second for buying. Her knowledge and help is second to none. She picked four faults in the sellers solicitors contract, which would have caused so many problems further down the line. I would highly recommend her & Heyman &Co............Thank you Karen.
