I am a Solicitor in the Public Law and Immigration department, having joined the firm’s City of London office in September 2021. My work incorporates a wide range of public law matters, predominantly in the field of immigration and human rights. I have particular experience in complex appeals before the Special Immigration Appeals Commission ('SIAC') and have worked on a number of challenges to government policies regarding the UK asylum system. My caseload includes: Asylum, trafficking and protection claims Bail (Immigration Removal Centres) Unlawful detention False imprisonment Deprivation of citizenship Removals Deportation Appeals to the First-tier Tribunal, Upper Tribunal and SIAC Related judicial review matters I work predominantly on legal aid matters and am accredited as a Senior Caseworker (Immigration and Asylum Law) by the Law Society. I am deeply committed to the promotion and protection of each client’s fundamental rights and the notion that every person should have access to quality legal representation in such matters.
