Excellent representation in divorce procedures

Superb service
Sharon Blackstone offers a highly professional service, provided in both an empathetic and timely manner. She was thorough, persistent, fair and transparent in fighting my fairly complex divorce settlement, saving my sanity and establishing a fair solution for which I will always be grateful.
Sharon was recommended by a work colleague who likened her to ‘a dog with a ’ and I would certainly recommend her to anyone requiring a solicitor in family law.

Clean Break Order
I divorced in 2020 with no assets to split and was not mindful at the time of the risk of not agreeing a clean break order. I later became aware that, with no clean break order in place, my ex-spouse would have the ability to make a future claim against my assets and salary, even against those which I accumulated long after being divorced. Discussions with my ex-spouse about agreeing a clean break order broke down and at times it looked likely that I would need to pursue a costly and emotionally draining order through the courts. Blackstone Family Law LLP handled negotiations for me, helped me to understand the legal and financial risk associated with navigating various outcome-based scenarios, managed all of the paperwork and, importantly, made me feel like I had an advocate in my corner who understood the stress and worry that I was feeling through the dispute. With Sharon’s help, I obtained a Clean Break order, negotiated a win-win settlement with my ex-spouse which meant that we could continue to co-parent without ongoing animosity, and saved me a substantial amount of money by not having to pursue an expensive financial remedy order through the courts. I’m grateful to Blackstone Family Law LLP and would recommend them.
